*Please note that the Lake Minnetonka Triathlon is a sprint distance course.
Individual Sprint Triathlon
Within the individual sprint triathlon category, you will have the option to race in your age group, as an Elite, or a Clydesdale/Athena.
Relay Team
Relay Teams are made up of 2-3 athletes that compete as a team. Each person on the team does at least one leg of the race. Pricing is for a team; however, each person must register separately.
AquaBike
The Lake Minnetonka Triathlon is proud to have hosted the first AquaBike event in the state of Minnesota. The AquaBike division is designed for athletes who only want to do the swim and bike portions of the race. After finishing the bike portion, AquaBike participants will return their bike to the Transition Area and then run ~100 meters to complete the race at the official finish line.
Family Team
Family Teams are not the same as Relay Teams, but are made up of two athletes that race in their individual divisions, then have their times combined for a total Family Team time. There is no extra cost to also compete as a Family Team, but both participants must select that they would like to participate as a Family Team during registration.
Registration fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another athlete or deferred under any circumstance. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The reason for this policy is that funds raised from our event go to our local charity partners: Interfaith Outreach and Community for the Commons.
